A short-sleeve knit polo with a deep rib that runs vertically down the front. The placket carries three buttons, so the neckline can be worn closed for a neat line or opened into a soft V. The knit is firm enough to hold its shape in the heat, and the collar stays flat rather than curling at the points. Worn with the buttons undone it becomes the easiest thing in the drawer.
