A short flight jacket with a zip front, ribbed cuffs and a contrast collar, cut from the classic military pattern. It sits at the waist rather than the hip, which is what gives the shape its balance. Worn over a knit it is the most straightforward jacket in the wardrobe. It has aged into a wardrobe staple rather than a costume piece. Smooth surface with a soft sheen. Waistband holds the jacket close at the hip.
